The Field Service Technician is the face of the company and requires excellent customer service skills paired with technical ability. The position requires completing customer installations, service visits, on-site troubleshooting, and recovery of equipment. Work is performed on-site at customer locations both with a physical aspect of installing Internet equipment, as well as a technical portion. Work may also be performed at our facilities that is the backbone to providing services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability
- Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore functional service to existing customers
- Install new customers with Internet service
- Configure routers and customer computers for access to Internet services
- Travel to all service areas and other duties as assigned
Must Have
- High School Diploma or Higher
- Passion for technology
- Professional in dress, speech, and manner
- Think safety
- Valid driver's license with a clear, good driving record and be insurable
Nice to have
- Experience in Networking, Installation, VOIP, and/or Linux
- Spanish speaking
- Customer Service experience
- Organization and legible handwriting
